This Privacy Policy explains what information LFGolf ("we", "us") collects when you use our websites and apps, and how we use it.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — when an organizer or player signs in, we receive your email address and basic profile information from our sign-in provider (email/password, Google, or Apple).
  • Tournament data — event details, player names, handicaps, pairings, and scores entered by organizers or players. Public leaderboard pages show player names and scores to anyone with the tournament link.
  • Location data — the tablet and mobile apps can use GPS to show distances on hole maps, attach a delivery location to food & beverage orders, and power the course's pace-of-play view. Location is collected only while the app is in use on the course.
  • Payment information — payments are processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store your card details; we keep records of which plan or tournament was paid for.
  • Technical data — we use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in and to remember a device's tournament session (for example, a claimed scorecard PIN).

2. How we use information

We use this information to provide the Service — running tournaments, showing live leaderboards, delivering orders, and managing subscriptions — and to secure accounts, provide support, and improve the product. We do not sell your personal information.

3. Sharing

Tournament information you choose to publish (names and scores on a leaderboard) is visible to anyone with the tournament link. We share data with service providers who host and operate the platform (cloud infrastructure, authentication, payments) under appropriate safeguards, and when required by law.

4. Data retention and deletion

Organizers can correct or delete player scorecards from the console. Signed-in players can delete their own scorecard history in the app. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the address below.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect.
